Annual General meeting<\/strong> – the ISUP AGM will be held in National harbor 4\/5 from 6:15 to 7:00 PM. One highlight of the meeting will be the presentation of the Koss Medal to Dr. Jae Y Ro for “lifetime achievement in the broad field of urological pathology.”<\/p>\n Companion Society meeting<\/strong> – the ISUP Companion Society educational meeting will be held in National Harbor 4\/5 from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. The program theme is “The importance of pathologic evaluation in active surveillance of genitourinary tumors<\/em>.” This outstanding program has been organized by Drs. Michelle Hirsch and Steven Shen. The program details are available on the USCAP web site<\/a>.<\/p>\n Speakers: Andrew Evans, Ying-Bei Chen, Donna Hansel, Steven Shen, Michelle Hirsch<\/p>\n Sunday March 17, 2019<\/u><\/p>\n ISUP Consultation Conference on Molecular Pathology of Urogenital Cancers<\/strong><\/p>\n ISUP is sponsoring a full day consultation conference on the current status of molecular pathology in urogenital cancers. The meeting organizers are Drs van der Kwast, Kristiansen and Egevad. The meeting is being held at the MGM Grand National Harbor, 101 MGM National Avenue, in the Bellagio Ballroom. The hotel is within walking distance and a walking route can be produced on Google Maps (about 25 minute walk). There is a shuttle service but it does not begin until 10 am on Sundays. Lyft and Uber cars as well as Taxis are plentiful for those not inclined to walk. The meeting is open to all ISUP members<\/strong>. A pre-meeting survey of the membership resulted in 256 responses (Thank you!). Selected aspects of the survey results will be presented in the relevant work group reports.
