These were taken as read and approved.

President’s Report: The president first reminded members about the testis and penile Consultation meeting to be held tomorrow (22nd March) as organised by Dr Berney. The meeting would be in Back Bay A from 1:00 to 5:30 and be followed by the Grawitz dinner.

ISUP had taken part in numerous conferences and academic papers over the past year, and had a strong presence at the September 2014 meeting of the Euopean Congress of pathology, as well as the IAP meeting in Bangkok.

In November 2014 there was a special meeting of invited expert pathologists and urologists to discuss revisions to the Gleason grading system. These revisions had recently also been accepted by the WHO GU classification meeting in Zurich the previous week, in which a large number of ISUP members had participated. A number of papers had also been published including a series of Immunohistochemistry papers in Am J Surg Pathol, and a series of papers in a number of different journals about the role of Pathology in the active surveillance of prostate cancer.

Secretary’s Report: The Secretary reported that membership was up, but that he continued to have problems contacting some members due to old email addresses, and urged them to send in their updated addresses if they had not been receiving any regular emails. After 2 years he announced he was standing down from the committee to allow a regular turnover in the ISUP committee, and wished his able successor all the best for the future. PH thanked him for his work in the past 2 years.

Treasurer’s Report: The Treasurer told that the economy of the Society is in good balance and agreed with the Secretary’s plea that the members pay their dues. ISUP currently has 611 members, including 67 new members since last USCAP meeting. Members were informed about the plans to organize electronic payment by Paypal through the Society’s website.

President Elect’s Report. Dr Egevad gave an outline of his new plans for the Society. A committee will be formed for revision of the constitution and by-laws. Our aim is to be transparent and inclusive. After the upcoming consultation meeting on testicular and penile tumors no further consensus meetings are scheduled the next two years as a consensus meeting immediately after the publication of the new WHO classification would be inappropriate. It will be investigated if an interactive meeting for standardization of grading and/or staging can be organized next year. A reference image database, Pathology Imagebase, is under construction, containg cases that have been submitted by an expert panel. This database will be open for ISUP members only. The website of the Society will be revitalised and the case of the week will be re-launched in the next two years. Work will also be done on international minimum datasets for reporting of urological pathology under the lead of Dr Srigley and ICCR.

Election of Officers for the term 2015-2017: The Nominations Committee proposed the following candidates:

Lars Egevad, President

Cristina Magi-Galuzzi, President-Elect

Hema Samaratunga, Secretary

Ming Zhou, Treasurer

Peter Humphrey, Past President

The nominations committee will also appoint the following councillors:

Councillor for North America: Andrew Evans

Councillor for Europe: Glen Kristiansen

Councillor for South America: Katia Leite

Councillor for Asia: Chin-Chin Pan

Councillor for Australasia: James Kench.

Councillor for Archives: Brett Delahunt

Councillor for Liaison and Outreach: John Srigley

No other nominations had been received.
