On the 2nd march the Grawitz dinner had been organized by Dr Amin at ‘Kous Kous’ a Moroccan restaurant. The meal was fully subscribes and ISUP embers who had prebooked should meet at 6pm outside the convention centre. 2013 activities included in April there was an ISUP event at the Hong kong division of IAP. Following this, some lecturers went to Shang-Hai to strengthen links with China. ISUP also met at theECP meeting in Lisbon in Sept. In September the Asia Pacific IAP met in Busan, S Korea and had a successful ISUP session.

Following the Vancouver ISUP meeting in 2012, the AJSurgPath had published 4 papers from the conference proceedings. The Immunochemistry best practice consultation in 2013was to be published in Am J Surg path and nearing completion. A publication was forthcoming on Active surveillance in prostate cancer and ISUP was a contributing society

The president felt that 2013 had been a highly successful year and that 2014 would continue to have many ISUP meetings including presence at the ECP meeting in London in Sept and the IAP meeting in Bangkok in October.

A large consultation conference at USCAP in Boston 2015 was announced on testis and penile cancer and members were encouraged to attend.

Report of the Secretary (D. Berney). DB thanked LE for the helpful and extensive handover notes in 2013. He mentioned that the email addresses of the secretary and treasurer had been standardized as Isupsecretary@gmail.com and isuptreasurer@gmail.com. He noted that when sending out emails of activities and subscription reminders there were lots of out of date emails and ‘bounce backs’. He urged members to contact him if they had received no emails in the last few months or changed email address.

He also mentioned that a number of members had not renewed their subscription and that we needed members support to continue to fund ISUP events such as the reception, awards, website and consultation meetings. Renewal was now much easier via the website and was more ‘user friendly’. He thanked the membership for their attention.

Report of the Treasurer (M. Zhou) MZ reported that he had received income totaling $15000 but expenses outweighted this at $18000, due to various expenses some of which were only for this financial year. Overall the position of the society was financially sound, but asked for members to please renew their sunscriptions, especially to access the new developments on the website.

Mahul Amin reported on the new website development of ‘case of the month’ . There had been 26 pathologists recruited to provide unique cases. This would go live in the next few months with digital slides to provide compendium of cases that any ISUP member could access, together with a text and power point supplemental file. The aim was to have at least 12 cases per year at first and then to develop this further to provide a unique portfolio of GU cases and would be one of the benefits of membership of ISUP.

Any Other business : none

The next Annual General Meeting will be in 2015 at the USCAP Annual Meeting in Boston, Massachusetts

The meeting was adjourned at 6:58PM

DM Berney ISUP Secretary

Annual General Meeting San Diego, California Saturday March 1, 2014 Convention Center Ballroom 20 BC Call to order at 6:40PM Agenda Items : Apologies: Holger Moch and Puay-HoonTan Previous Minutes for Approval [Baltimore, MD; March 2, 2013] Minutes had been pre-circulated.
